Mount Harrison is one of the most unique locations in southern Idaho, Mt Harrison elveation is 9,265 this gives visitors views that you just cant get anywhere else in southern Idaho, the road is paved all the way to the top of the look out, making the look out accessible to any car, Mt Harrision is ONLY accessible burring the summer months,
Views can stretch to 100 miles in all directions
HOW TO GET THERE?
Iv created a custom google maps that gives you information about my favorite spots on this trip to Mt Harrsion
From I-84, head south from the Declo / Albion exit number 216. Head past the historic town of Albion until the the sign indicating the route to Pomerelle Ski Resort. As one is about to arrive at the entrance to the ski area, a signed road heads off to the right to Thompson Flat, the Twin Lake picnic area, and Lake Cleveland.
FIRST TIME AT MOUNT HARRISON?
If this is your first time visiting Mt Harrison my recomendation would be first to visit lake clevland and do a short hike around the lake then head to Mt Harrison.
WHAT ARE THE VIEWS LIKE?

My Personal Recomendation would be this, first stop by Lake Clevland and do a short hike around the lake first before going to the summit of Mt Harrision

one thing to keep in mind is that normaly to get to an alpine like this it takes hours, Lake clevlend makes it acessable to almost anybody looking for great views and short hike
